Grigor joins Brisbane lions :)

QF : Dimirov/Kokkinakis vs Matkowski/Lindstedt 6:3, 6:7, 10:7

Next in Semifinal they will be play against Dolgopolov/Nishikori.

World No. 11 Grigor Dimitrov swapped his tennis racquet for an Australian Rules football Thursday, shortly after teaming with 18-year-old Thanasi Kokkinakis for a doubles victory at the Brisbane International. The Bulgarian met with footballers Dayne Zorko and Sam Mayes, of the Brisbane Lions, one of 18 teams in the country's premier Australian Football League (AFL).

Dimitrov learned the finer points of kicking a drop punt, kicking around his body and how to handball (see video).

The four-time ATP World Tour title winner joked that he would now be able to talk trash with his coach Roger Rasheed, a vociferous supporter of Port Adelaide, one of two AFL teams in South Australia.

"My coach supports another team so I can have a little clash with him now and we can probably have a little bit of a footy match at times," said Dimitrov. "The [footballers] said they train six hours a day. That's around what I do. I guess my coach is picking up a few things from that area."

Dimitrov was also presented with a Lions jumper.
