Grigor Dimitrov was much more convincing in the quarterfinals of the tournament in Brisbane against Martin Klizhan than 2 rounds in a match against Chardy. Bulgarian defeated the Slovak 6-3 6-4 and qualified for the semifinals, which will face Federer.
At the semi-final Dimitrov ended his participation in doubles. Pair Dimitrov / Kokkinakis lost 3-6 3-6 with a pair Dolgopolov / Nishikori.
