Grigor with second win of the day.

Grigor Dimitrov recorded their second win of the day of the Madrid Masters, after he and Austrian Jurgen Melzer qualified for the second round of doubles, removing Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gael Monfils after twist 4-6 6-4 [10-3].

The match started with an advantage for the French, who even in the opening game secured two chances to break, benefited from the second and a little later he led 2-0. Tsonga and Monfils had even break point and in the third game, but this time the Bulgarian-Austrian duo did not crack, and then they even reached rebreak to 2-2.

But that was only the beginning of a series of four consecutive attack, which was stopped in the eighth game, when the French still held the submission and confirmed to 5-3. Dimitrov and Melzer certainly had their chances to get back in the lead, after at 5-4 reached new two break points but took the chance and missed part after about half an hour.

In the second set the roles are exchanged after this time Grigor Jurgen inflicted the first blow, winning submission of his opponents, leading 3-1, but not too late rebreak and French instantly leveled the score. However, Bulgarian-Austrian duo waiting for his moment and a decisive break in the tenth game failed to score in the championship match tiebreak, but there is no chance left of Tsonga and Monfils and granted altogether only three points.

In an attempt to reach the quarterfinals Grigor Dimitrov and Jurgen Melzer will face placed under №5 scheme Nenad Zimonjic and Marcin Matkowski, who are currently located respectively in №5 and №21 ranked pairs.
