Grigor Dimitrov Makes Camouflage a New Tennis Court Staple

It’s less than a week away, but New Yorkers are already bracing themselves for an influx of power, strength, and beauty as the US Openreturns to Arthur Ashe Stadium. And while we know that Maria Sharapova, Serena Williamsand Eugenie Bouchard will be taking to the courts with their typical fashion-forward flair, last night in New York it was Bulgaria’s Grigor Dimitrov who served up an ace look.

Participating in Nike’s Street Tennis competition in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District yesterday, Dimitrov stole the show in a fresh take on retro on-court styling. The 24-year-old’s camouflage top was a subtle, and stylish, message to his opponents about his winning mind-set. Complementing the graphic nature of his top were black shorts that featured a coral swoosh, while the athlete opted to ground his look with coordinating trainers and socks.
