Grigor Dimitrov was awarded "Athlete of Bulgaria in 2014." during a ceremony in the Hall 3 NPCs.
This year, Grigor Dimitrov won this award after a series of great performances on the pitch. He became the first Bulgarian reached the Top 10 in the world rankings, which climbed №8, and also won three ATP titles on three different surfaces. Grigor wowed his fans excellent results in the Grand Slam, reaching the semi-finals at Wimbledon quarter-finals of Australian Open fourth round of the US Open.
Dimitrov did not receive their prize in person, as is currently in Los Angeles, where he is to prepare for the new season. However, our first rocket expressed gratitude for the award received by the video recording to their fans, and here is what Grigor:
