Dimitrov among the nominees for the 2014 Athlete in Bulgaria

Dimitrov and Pironkova are among the nominees for Sportsman of the Year 2014.

Grigor Dimitrov is the favorite to win the award, after 2014 make the most successful season of his career.Bulgarian won three ATP titles on three different surfaces, reached the quarterfinals of the Australian Open and the semifinals at Wimbledon and climb to №8 in the world rankings.

Grigor for this will be the fourth time that falls within the top ten of this prestigious ranking - the first was in 2008, he took the eighth position in 2012 was the sixth and last season was the second position behind the wrestler Ivo Angelov.

57th ceremony of awards "Sportsman of the Year" will be held on December 22 in Hall 3.
