Dimitrov and Cuevas have met twice, and the last Uruguayan stopped Grigor Tournament in Istanbul and want to reach the final against Roger Federer. In 2014 a Bulgarian beat him 6-0 6-3 Masters in Paris.
If successful in the second round, Grigor could meet in the quarterfinals eighth placed Alexandr Dolgopolov and eventual semifinal with Dominique Team.
