The captain of the national team for the Davis Cup Todor Enev, today announced the composition of Bulgaria team for the decisive matches against Hungary in a playoff to climb in I-st group of the Europe-Africa zone in the team competition.
Dimitar Kuzmanov, Dimitar Kutrovsky, Alexander Lazov and Tihomir Grozdanov have chosen that from 18 to 20 September will play for the honor of Bulgaria. The best bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov will take part in the upcoming match.
"Our team are motivated and well prepared to fight for victory. I am fully confident that they can handle, as already demonstrated in the match against Latvia. Of course, we will rely heavily on the support of the public and urge people to come and support our national team, "said captain Enev.
For reaching this crucial phase of the fight to climb in I-st group national tennis team defeated the teams of Latvia and Luxembourg.
In the second round to join our team and Grigor Dimitrov, who along with Dimitar Kuzmanov Dimitar Kutrovsky and Tihomir Grozdanov dealt with categorical 5:0 wins over Luxembourg and provided a place of our country in the playoff clash with Hungary.
Bulgaria will have the chance to climb into the upper I-st group of the Davis Cup for the second time in history. 10 years ago we could not go up to the upper group after losing Ukraine.
